The Osron Warming & Cooling System is suitable for the local application of heat or cold therapy. The pads are heated or cooled electrically using distilled water and can be reused on the same patients. The large selection of different pads allows them to be used on many different parts of the body.
The system can be used in all medical and surgical settings. It is particularly suitable for cooling after surgical procedures, whether in orthopaedics, maxillofacial surgery or aesthetic and reconstructive surgery. It can also be used for heat therapy for chronic pain or, if required, in sports medicine.
The device has four different temperature settings (12°C, 18°C, 38°C and 42°C) and can be used either for 15 minutes, 30 minutes or continuously. It is also space-saving and very compact with a weight of just under 1.7 kg.
