The Haemostasis Management System HMS enables the heparin concentration in the circulating blood to be displayed. It shows whether patients are adequately heparinized and enables thrombosis prophylaxis as well as checking the availability of coagulation factors or the occurrence of consumption coagulopathy. HMS also provides support for protamine management.
